.....is on its way out, resulting in high revs but no power!!!!
Its managable for quick journeys, like 5 mins away but thats but it.
Now ive looked into getting this replaced but im looking around £95 for the clutch kit + another 60-70 for fitting it.
Anybody have any ideas how i can lower this price??
thanx

Mate,
I hate to say it, but £60 notes for fitting clutch to a fourtrak is not a bad price.......and the kit at £95 is about right (I'm guessing from Milners)
You might be able to price down a little by looking on Ebay for kit's, they do pop up quite oftern.
Even at Mates rates I would have thought you were looking a £20/30 with a few beers......

H is right.
H is right, £60 fitting is good. I put a new clutch in my 1991 fourtrak, it took me and a mate about 4 hours to get the job done and we are both mechanics. Most garages charge at least £20+ per hour so £60 aint bad. The clutch kit worked out about £95 with V.A.T.
Hope this helps. Kev

The quote i got was just for the clutch plate, but apparently you cant get these singlerly anymore so it has to be a full clutch job for around £375!!!!! eeek!
