High roof F75

Forum:

While surfing the net, I came across this pic of a Rocky, with a much higher rear roof than I have seen before. I certainly havent seen any in Australia. Is/was this a factory option for seven seat models? Anyone have any info on this? The url indicates it may be from the Netherlands.
Cheers

Saw one of these last weekend

Last weekend when I was driving somewhere I saw one of these. Didn't think they made them with a taller roof but obviously did, but I don't have any info on them and reading the section in the service manual about the different models covered I don't see it mentioning the F75 being available with a high roof.

Could it be a modification so u can push people in wheelchairs into the back?! I saw a Rover Metro converted the other day for that, it looked a big strange on such a small car - it was twice the original height!

Having said that, u would need long ramps to get someone up as high as the back of a Fourtrak?

Could be for Wheelchairs!

A Rover Metro?!?!?! Now that must have looked very strange indeed. I am suprised it could cope with someone in a wheelchair anyway because of the way anything thats vaguely metal on a Metro rusts and rots quickly, i've know people put their hand through their boots trying to get the spare tyre out.

You'd need reasonable length ramps or just ones at a steepish slope, which would be ok for kids or someone who isn't too heavy. Though could have the wheelchair lift thing to get the wheelchair into the back.
