I was about to change my standard clarion stereo for a new kenwood and make the car boot into a bug subwoofer but can not work out how to remove the original stereo! Normally it's just a case af 2 screw drivers down the side and away you go. This baby seems to be bolted in! any ideas any one?

What Daihatsu Model are you trying to replace the Stereo in? I know the YRV one was bolted in as I've swapped mine.

cheers, found a good way to do it. remove the ashtray then just pull the plasstic from there just ripped straight off. job done,
