My 98 Charade gti keeps overheating, can anyone help with possible problems, location of the thermostat, best places to get parts etc. Anything really I havent had it long and know nothing about it. Cheers

My 98 Charade gti keeps overheating
Maybe an airlock? or head gasket on its way out, i've the same car and finding any information about it is proving difficult, ill ask my mechanic if he knows about the thermostat and report back tomorrow. Parts are just as rare as the car, very awkward to find, the best bet to get parts is off a Charade GLXi but theres no guarantee the parts will definitely fit.

Does the car overheat when moving or stationary
Are you getting any heat through the heater when you put it on, any bubbles in the expansion tank, are you using any eater, any water in the oil 
Could be lots of things from seized thermostat, blocked hose, bunged up rad, dead water pump, head gasket
