replacement gearbox

my first gear has starated to sound a bit ragh, ragh, ragh so think its a good time to get a refurb as the price of a new one almost killed me . has anyone got a place they can recomend to get on e refurbed through ??. im based in wiltshire but can drive it still to get it done.

Forget it unless it is really bad, this is a common problem and the box will still give good service for many more miles. Your best option is to replace the oil and put a good additive in such as Slick 50, or similar proprietry compound.
