hi i have a rocky 1988 2.8 non turbo and i would like to know if i can put any other engine like a toyota hilux 2.8 and if i do, do i have to change both differentials, transmission and everything.

Transplants
The easiest option is to drop a turbo Fourtrak lump in, it is an easy conversion and the engine power and torque are matched to the vehicle. Everything has already been done by daihatsu, and there will be no changing of axles, manufacturing of engine/gearbox adaptor plates, etc.
