Hi, so did mine, local scrap yard for replacement but didn't last long. Replacement from Main dealer in Galashiels at 240 and also vat but they have been affected by devaluation of pound so could be v.not cheaper now. Don't know if they are all the same though but fitted the first one myself just by judging it to be so, oh and second one but supplied as new from dealer as stated who had all the parts numbers of course.
Information about the prop shaft is important here though I didn't chase it up because I was sent a letter telling me to go to a dealer as all the hijets had a problem with the prop shaft which was dangerous. I was fed up at the time and felt if a letter could arrive seemingly by some kind of random process then I wasn't going to follow it up. My main dealer contact (Where I bought the car) weren't very positive when I said I'd had this letter so I believed the position of the vehicle to be in doubt in the British motor market, but ..
I don't have the letter anymore (after a quick look) and found the list of dealers to contact innacurate anyway??
