all the fittings should be there

I enquired about this when I bought my TDS (SWB Fieldman) new, and was told that there was a fitting kit for rear seats and belts for about £800. This number sortof put me off the purchase, so I forgot about it.

All the fixings are there, so original seats should fit fine. (I'm assuming that LWB Fieldmans are the same).
Thinking about it, I might try to fit the rear seat and belts from one of my LWB independents into the Fieldman.

The only fly in the ointment is the poxy insurance brokers who have about as much Engineering nous as a Banker, and have nearly as sticky fingers as a Banker when it comes to hiking your premium when you tell them you've fitted the seats and belts.

If I get around to playing with the back seat from my Forester, I'll try and write in here.

Oh, BTW, I think you will have to fit the rear 'rollbar' assembly to support the seatbelt fittings.

I've got a 1990 Fourtrak 2.8

I've got a 1990 Fourtrak 2.8 Fieldman, and it had bench seats on each side when I bought it, they didn't have belts. They were the original seats that came with the truck new, so I am guessing that they are legal. I've removed them though.

I have put an F75 rear seat into an F78 Fieldman. It was an eisey job, which only took an afternoon on my own as I remember.
