jacky

Try looking under the passenger seat, tool kit between the pass seat and transmision tunel.

Addition- buy a high lift trolly jack, and make a 3/4" plywood pad for it, (for soft ground use). The screw jack supplied is as much use as a chocalot tea pot !!!!, as is the tool kit. ( I have the full works including a tin of orignal touch up paint !!!) Pop rivet / bolt in some brackets and secure it down with a shortened (cheap) rachet straps.

If it is ther. It is porly

If it is ther. It is porly mecanical (no hydrolics). It is held in place by being slightly 'wound up' against a peice of metal rod. wind the tention off the jack, and the rod can be moved out of the way so you can extract the jack from under the seat.

This description is fairly usless, but will all become clear once you find the offendind artical, I am sure...
