I have a diesel fourtrack engine fitted to in a series landrover it is a nice engine but I have trouble ordering parts for it ( at the moment trying to find a temperature sender unit ) as the dealers insist on a chasis number which i don't have .
Is there any other way to identify the parts.
Perhaps if someone has a fourtrack with a F50 diesel then they could tell me their chasis number for ordering parts?

If you still have the donor vehicles registration number you can cross check it with the DVLA, if you have a local office this would be better to use.
The old vehicle can also have its original chassis number identified from the engine number, again from the DVLA.
Many motor factors also offer this service for the online ordering of parts, so it might be worth checking sites of these companies.
