D-sport or DRS Parts

I would definitely be intersted in some D-sport parts for my YRV Turbo, especially a strut brace.

Some owners have also wanted body kits for the YRV.

I got my psrts from Motorsport IRS in Japan and they artrived within 2 weeks max

How much did you end up having to pay for the strutbrace?

Not as much as one for my Subaru Impreza...;-)

Paid £165 all in, which included the strutbrace, and delivery. And before you say tht's expensive! I paid double that for one on my Scooby a year or so back from a main dealer.
Did have to wait nearly 2 months before it arrived though due to being out of stock in Japan.

Not too bad a price really

Not too bad a price really considering really, that is a D-Sport one and it was shipped all the way from Japan. Not driven a car with a Strutbrace fitted before though. Do they actually make much noticeable difference?

Yes.....

Been out in the car since installation and unless it's phsycological noticed that the car has a better turn in and unless if I'm mistaken a better ride.
The car overall feels more taught and robust with less roll.
Be interesting to what the difference will be with wider tyres/Alloys and a lowered springkit.

I don't think that DRS has

I don't think that DRS has any items for the YRV model ( http://www.drs-dccs.co.jp/) and as for D-Sport there is a retail dealer in uk. Anyway D-Sports Braces are really nice but CUSCO ALSO makes lower brace for YRV (2 point AND 4 point) but needs a special order for that which takes about 1 month (I did it). D-Sport has some nice radiator cap and thermostat which I also bought and 2 aluminium silentblocks.

I have just bought a D-Sport

I have just bought a D-Sport front strutbrace from Tim @ Japaneazi car parts. Took a month and half to turn up though. Send Tim an E-mail via www.japaneazicarparts.co.uk, he sorted one out as a special order. He has also siad he may be getting some Tein lowering springs in for the YRV turbo.

Trying to get hold of

Trying to get hold of lowering springs for Copen, i think (almost sure) that DSport do these, would be interested in purchasing some if you could get hold of them.
