Am currently looking around for a YRV Turbo. I have noticed in some pics I've seen that there isn't always a steershift button on the right hand bank of switches? On my manual YRV there are 5 spaces for switches (Rear Fog, Rear Wiper, Heated Screen, Headlamp alignment and 1 x Blank) On some of the Turbos the switches are the same as mine but where my blank is there is a switch for the Front Fogs (which I don't have), so where would the steershift button be on these cars?

You are indeed right the switches to the right on the Turbo are:
Front fogs, rear fogs, rear wiper, Headlamp Adjustment & rear screen de-mister
To give you an idea:

Unlike the YRV F-Speed (automatic non-turbo) model where you would normally have a spare blanked space as this model doesn't have front fogs as standard, the Steer-shift button would normally be found there.
On the turbo, the steer-shift button is locate below the heater controls on the centre console locates to the left of the ash-tray and above the 12volt socket. Can be a bit tricky when you want to initiate the steer-shift.

Nice one Jon. Whilst we're on the subject of switches and stuff, where are these change up lights on the turbo? I cannot find any pics anywhere!!

Ahhh the in-famous U.K only shift-up lights
These apear when you reach 6000 rpm (green) and then 6500 rpm (red) and come through the LCD display (not seeable when not working) on the dash (where you see the gear you are in). Possible reason for no photos of this is because you will be doing some speed and would be considered dangerous trying to take a photograph whilst you are driving 
Personnally I hardly notice them due to the position they are in
Bob, The steershift button is only found on the F-Speed automatic Daihatsu YRV (& Turbo) and Sirion and is used so you can use the '+' & '-' buttons on the steering wheel to manually shift gears
