Just Bought a Sportrack

Hi,
I've just bought my dausghter a 1996 Sportrack Xi which is a nice little motor so very new to these little wonders. We also have a LR Disco and Freelander but she took a fancy to the Sportrack. Just wondering why the log book shows it as a Hijetta ??? I have done all the checks on VIN and engine numbers and all show correct. Was it just a model name at the time ??? Also it does'nt seem to have the adjustable suspension was this an option. It has a full service history with it including the original bill of sale and has had three owners from new.

Mine is a 93 sporti and has the adjustable supension(well it's just the shock absorbers,3 settings hard medium soft,wether they work is another thing)you can get bigger shackles for the rear and adjust the front torsion bars to raise or lower the hight.Mine says the it's a sportrak on the log book and feroza on the vin plate,they are also known as rocky f300.The Hijetta seems a typo from Hijet which is a van.I went every where plus more than my mates Disco at Rochdale.Have Fun

Thanks for the reply, It has just sailed through the MOT and will get a full service at the weekend. It seems to have a GETRONIC alarm/imobiliser fitted as well. I have sent for the service CD. Strange about the log book saying Hijetta but I guess thats what some one put down when it was registered. Will post some pictures when I get some.
