I got mine off ebay and they came to about £55 including P&P.

Go for it

Boon

spacers

Hi I have 30mm spacers all round and they are fantastic, no more rubbibg on full lock. Couldn't really say if they improve handling but they definitely improve the stance and look of the beast. I got mine from Bronco.com.

Wheel spacers

Hi Spike. I fitted a set of those 55quid ebay spacers to my 1991 2.8 4trak. My friend advised me not to because he had heard bad things about them. I ignored him and fitted them anyway. Personally I think that they did improve stability and certainly they made my truck look a lot better. But guess what. After three months of use my front hubs were knackered and rear studs damaged. A VERY costly mistake!!!!!!!!

If you are just worries about

If you are just worries about better stability, and making it look better, then the better option is to get wider tyres (30-9.50/15's or 31-10.50/15's) fitted to 8XJJ15 rims. This will give the same effect as normal track wheels/tyres with spacers, without straining the barings as much. It will make the stearing heavier, and increas the fule consumption though.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
