Fitting of 7 seats in the back of a Fourtrak

Forum:

Hi There
Can you help me. I have just purchased 2 additional seats from a Fourtrak to fit in to my 1996 TDL Independant. I am not sure how they fit. My vehicle has a rear roll bar built in and was wondering if any one has a vehicle with a rollbar with the seats fitted, and could email me a picture so I can see how they go. I am led to beleive that they were an option on the TDL model. My email address is eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%73%63%6f%74%74%2e%70%65%61%63%68%40%62%74%69%6e%74%65%72%6e%65%74%2e%63%6f%6d%22%3e%73%63%6f%74%74%2e%70%65%61%63%68%40%62%74%69%6e%74%65%72%6e%65%74%2e%63%6f%6d%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b')). I really appreciate the help.

er I do not think so

Hi there....I had a Trak with the roll cage in the back, and that did not have the addition two seats either.....

What the cage does allow you to do is fit a propoer 3 point seat belt for the rear seats..........if not already fitted.

Sorry I can not help further.

seats

hi i have a 94 independant with roll bar and seats,i'm just in from a trip at sea and dont have time to take photos but been out for a look.if you have the correct seat it looks straight forward, the bottom of the seat is bolted onto wheel arch by 2 bolts the rear bolt is onto a raised mount and the front bolt into a threaded whole on the wheel arch.the back of the seat is attached by a clamp over the roll bar and the rear is attached onto a threaded mount on side of jeep.out to sea in 4hrs but if i get time when i return i'll send u photos.hope this helps Bill

7 seats and a roll bar

Hi Scott
I have a P reg TDL ( not the Inpedendant) with roll bar and the 2 additional rear seats. I'm away this weekend but can take photos next week, if it will help. The decription given by another response is just like mine.
As you can't fit 3 point inertias, we bought a static child harness set from a car accessory shop made for 5-8 year old, perfect at the time!
They were fiddly to fit but did work and looked safe.
Email me if you do need pictures
