4trak soft to hardtop conversion

Forum:

I would like to put a sunroof and hard back on my 1990 4trak soft top. Can I use the removable sunroof and back from a hard top? Any comments and or suggestions would be greatfully received email eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%64%61%76%69%64%5f%63%5f%6d%61%72%73%64%65%6e%40%68%6f%74%6d%61%69%6c%2e%63%6f%6d%22%3e%64%61%76%69%64%5f%63%5f%6d%61%72%73%64%65%6e%40%68%6f%74%6d%61%69%6c%2e%63%6f%6d%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b'))

We didnt even get a soft top model Fourtrak here in Aus!

I dont see how they could be that different.

Sorry not correct. Soft tops were available, but not in great numbers. And I think the answer for fitting a FRP top from a LWB Rocky/Fourtrak to a soft top Rocky is no, as the soft top is a SWB, and the hard top version is all steel roofed.

Notice the distance between the back of the doors and the front of the rear wheel arch. This is where the extra length difference is between SWB and LWB.

Ahhh.. you learn something new everyday! I wish information was easier to come by for these great little trucks.. they are so uncommon and hard to get stuff for. I dont think any Rocky's were available in great numbers...lol

I remeber seeing the SWB steel roof model... looked funny without the raised up section that the LWB have.

We need to have a big gathering of all the Aus Rocky's.. lol
