Last week got stuck in 5th gear and had to call out Green Flag. Car went in to a local (trusted) garage who had to remove the gearbox and it send away to a specialist.

Apparently the 5th gear synchro hub was worn and so I couldn't get it out of 5th.

Has anyone else had this issue, as they said they hadn't seen that problem before with Daihatsu gearboxes.
