I have just lifted my sportrak 2" all round with new shackles and adjusting the torsion bar. Will i need to put bigger shocks on the rear? Does it need a longer brake pipe putting in for the higher lift.
Cheers

Possible shock change
The most possible scenario is that you will need to change shocks but in order to verify this you need to do the following:
1. Lift up one of the two rear sides and stop when the wheel looses ground. Measure the distance between the two bolt positions of the shock (upper - lower).
2. Do the same thing again but this time with the shock removed (just remove the lower side for more convinience). Measure the distance between the two bolt positions of the shock (upper - lower).
Compare the distances and if the second is bigger then you definetely need bigger shocks for better stability and bigger articulation.
As far as the brake hose you also need to check if it is stretched when the rear wheel is extended and have in mind that if you install bigger shocks the brake hose will be more stretched.

I have since checked the ride height and the brake lines just stretch enough, and i have left the old shocks on.
Cheers for the reply.
