I have been thinking about putting a couple of jump seats (sideways facing) in my fourtrak wagon LWB 1994. I've looked in the manual and removed the ply covers that a previous owner has put over the rear wheel arches. Problem is I can't find any holes or captive nuts that the jump seats and their hinged brackets need to be fastened to. There are no rear forward facing seats but the rear forward facing seat belts are attached to the roll bar and I guess the rear seat mounting points are under the ply sheeting, but I don't want rear seats, just jump seats for occaisioal use. Is it likely that the wagon didn't have the holes/captive nuts that the saloon had for the jump seats? If so I might as well make some seats up out of 2cm ply, any ideas?
