Forum:
I have myself an 06 plate 1.3 Sirion.
Driving home tonight the roads were quiet so I thought I would have a little fun and took a few small roundabouts at speed, pulling a bit of G. All well and good, but twice my Sirion started making a beeping sound while I was cornering hard.
Anyone experienced this, what is it, and is it anything to worry about?

Does the new Sirion have Traction control? Perhaps the noise you heard was the traction control kicking in perhaps? The only other noises you could have is that the lights are on and the car door is being open. What does the manual say?

I'm not sure, but I think the car has a kind of poor man's traction control, and that's what's beeping. I'll try to look at the dash if it happens again.

Did you have anything on the passenger seat which could have activated the seat belt warning?
