I have 1992 rocky f75 2.8td with several problems, but this one is my fault,last morning I wanted to put some oil additive into gearbox, and because I had a major hangover I have unscrewed a wrong screw(on the opposite side of the gearbox)and lost 5'th gear I am aware what i'v done and my question is -Is there a way to return 5'th without taking down the whole gearcase???

The answer is. NO.
I did it too, but it was when the gearbox was on the table and it was hell getting it back. You have lost a fork, that has now slipped inthe the oil pan.
Sorry but hard work is the only way.

The nut/bolt concerned should
The nut/bolt concerned should have had a aluminium locking tab, that would have had to be bent straight to allow it to be undone. This is there for a reason. My gearbox has a big painted notice on this side, stating NOT OIL FILLER. Just in case anyone else attempts to change gear oil.
