Hello,
My brother in law has just bought himself a another sportrak as his ELXI rotted away and has just bought a carb'd model with a duff engine.
Anyone ever done this swap before?
Are there any main problems he should look out for before we go ahead with the swap.
All help greatly appreciated.

to change from carb to EFI
to change from carb to EFI you will need to completely remove all the dash, then all the dash wiring loom, fit the ECU, fit the electronic fuel pump, fit wiring and fuel lines to said pump, change all the engine wiring to run the other bits the EFI needs - long and short of it - hell of a job.
