mira newbie needing help

Forum:

hi,

i am just about to purchase a Mira TRXX-Avanzato turbo l500-s, and just had a few questions and was hoping you good people could help me:

-anything to look out for in particular when i go to view this mira?
-does the fwd r have lsd?
-is the fwd slower/faster than the 4wd r4?
-is it possible to increase boost or any bigger turbos recomended?
-is a turbo timer a good idea?
-whats servcing like? expensive? can all dealers do this?
-is £1500ish a fair price?
-which is the best place to find parts?

i would really appriciate all the help i can get as there doesnt seem to be much around.

thanks to all those who reply

hi great to see you want one of these fantastic little cars, are you looking at the one on piston heads?
the mira 4wd gearbox did suffer and usually have to be rebuilt, generally the engines are very strong,
fwd model did have lsd as a factory option when new, mine is the R model and does`nt loose traction under fast take offs,
a turbo timer is always good for the cooling down of the turbo,is strange at first, and people shout after you to tell you the car is left running,
camskill have a lot of service parts, most garages should cope with servicing,
£1500 seems a reasonable price,
always look on this site or ebay for donor cars, parts etc,
