Copen cover

Forum:

Hi! I am new to the site.
Recently bought a copen, which has been utterly fantastic.
I do wonder however if anyone has noted the same little niggles I have though.
firstly the seatbelt often comes out of its guide (the one built into its seat near the head rest). Is there a way to remedy this?
secondly in my handbook there is mention (and diagrams too!) of a cover that goes over the space created when the roof is down between the roll over hoops and the edge of the boot lid. In the handbook there are holes behind the roll over hoops and a hook inside the boot for this device to hang on when not in use. My guess is that this may be something offered in other countries and not in this one, as my car doesn't have this (it lacks the cover and any holes/hooks). Overall though I am well pleased with the car and do recommend it, I have to say though only as second car. My wife has a huge company car so the copen was Ideal for me and fits on my drive! Has anyone modded their's?

COPEN COVER

Hi

I think the part you mean is the Tonneau cover.

You can get them from Daihatsu UK.

They are priced at £295.00 (inc vat)
The part number is DACC3672

There are many more Copen accessories in Daihatsu car price list book 2004 (DMP0217/1.04), including spoilers and front/rear skirts, ect.

You can request this book from daihatsu.co.uk.

For modded Copens look in my image gallery at the 1300cc TURBO SARD SPECIAL and KUMOI MOTORS.

Hope this is of some help

copen cover

Thank goodness its not just me who asked the question..manual is a bit ambiguos as doesn't stipulate cover as being an optional extra so have been harassing my dealer to find me one and not have to pay for it..oops, never mind theylive in sleepy hollow so it gave them something to do.

Thanks for calrificatio via the other owner
