cuore plugs gunking up

Forum:

my cuore blew the head gasket after aprox 35000 miles.
the head gasket was renewed, and shortly after i noticed a drop off in power. this time i removed the head myself, and found that the plug gaps were bridged with thick black build up, plus the exhaust valve stems. So this time changed all valve stem oil seals plus new head gasket.Within 10 miles of running plugs are again showing signs of build up.
Would appreicate any helpful suggestions,as to what to try next. P.S. anyone know of repair manual.

First up, 35k is pretty poor

First up, 35k is pretty poor for a HG, especially in this day and age So with all your probs, I'd say you are looking at another issue with the engine and/or management given the coking up you are getting. What is the MPG? is the exhaust exit coked up with soot at the end? Was all this a problem before or did the HG just go for no reason?

I agree

yes I agree 35k is very poor for a HG,but classic sign's water in oil, emusified on oil filler cap.coking up has only become a problem since the HD was changed.have not driven it far enough to get MPG, only 20 or 30 miles, and yes the exhaust is coked.took it back to garage, they checked emissions readings OK but lots of grey white smoke and burning oil smell, checked all breather tubes they seem OK.
they suggest rings gone. compression test 12.5 bar each cylinder.
