That old nugget, Hijet Alloys

Forum:

This has most probably been answered before but let's just give it a go.
Will British Leyland Mini Alloy wheels fit to the Hijet ('r' reg)?
I dont mind if the centres need machining, i have a mate that has a lathe to perform that operation.

This site has been very useful for me. I have had my 'Noddyvan' for 3 years now and I am loathe to pass it on because it is a great buddy to me.

Thanks guys.

Noddy van wheels

Don't think so mate.

BL Mini's used a 4x4"PCD which is about 4x101.6mm

The hijet needs 4x110mm PCD wheels.

I wrote a web page a while back that has a good list of what fits the Hijet here:- http://www.daihatsuhijet.co.uk/hijet-wheels-pcd-4x110/

Although others use them, I personally would avoid Wobble/Variation Nuts and the use of PCD 4x108 wheels for obvious reasons if you think about the design of the hubs on the rear.
