How to wire a keyless entry system into a 2000 sirion 1.3

Forum:

Hi fellow Daihatsu drivers,

I'm new here, so before I post my question, let me first take the opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Martijn, 24 yrs old and currently living in a small town in the nothern part of Holland. a few months ago I bought a nice 2000 Sirion 1.3 to use as a daily drive from and to work/school. It is a great car, very economical, cheap to insure and very reliable like every Japanese car.

My Sirion:

- is a 1.3S with 102 bhp
- has got anti lock brakes, electric windows and doormirrors, powered steering etc.
- has got 157.000 kilometres on the clock (about 97555 miles)

To make live more easier, I would like to install a keyless entry system in my car. Yesterday I tried to install the system but I dont have any electrical schematics of the car. Also I don't know whether the system is negative or positive triggered.

So my question is: does anyone have experience with installing a keyless entry system and can give me a description or something? Or does anyone have electrical scematics of the cars' electrical system?

Looking forward to hear from you!

Greetings from Holland
