2005 Charade - Spare Tyre + Engine Warning Light !

Hi DDUK,

I have two questions I hope someone can answer.

Is there room in the boot for a proper tyre in place of the space-saver tyre provided with the car?

Whilst changing a headlight, somehow I must have knocked a sensor and now the engine warning light is on all the time. How do I get this switched off?

i) short answer is, no.

ii) engine warning light is likely to have come on not as a consequence of knocking a sensor when changing headlight, but just as a coincidence... i reckon!

regarding the engine warning light - get yourself an OBDII code reader to read the code and hopefully diagnose the fault. i use a very simple one like this (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Scanner-Engine-READER/dp/B004KL0I9I) and it works a treat although it is not as fancy as some of the more expensive scanners out there!
