Hi Guys anybody found an "easy" way to replace the door pillar mounted aerial... Mine had a collision with a pigeon and despite trying to get away with just replacing the mast I have had to cut the old one off and am needing to rethread the cable... this is proving really difficult as I cannot see where it comes out under the dash.... I really do not want to take out the dashboard and am wondering if there is acess under the wing by taking out the inner wing protectors?????? any ideas gratefully received... thanks

OK managed to do it.. if anyone is interested I had to take off the door pillar trimm this enabled me to just about see an oval hole using a torch through which the aerial lead passes but it is tricky to manipulate this past the end of the dashboard, however once through this bit the rest is plain sailing. Though the plastic studs that hold the door pillar trim in place took a bit of a hammering despite using the proper tool due to age deterioration of the plastic.
