Last night my gearbox bailed out on me which snapped the left drive shaft. The gearbox has it's OD light blinking for sometime and it was leaking ATF so I had the left drive shaft oil seal replaced and it no longer leaks but still the OD blinks upon and after reaching 80km/h.. So I refrained myself from pushing it further than that. Unfortunately, while I was driving home slightly climbing uphill, a loud bang was heard and I can hear like blending metal bars. I knew that the gearbox bailed on me so I was wondering whether the 3SZ-VE auto gearbox can be used on a K3-VE if I were to replace it?
