Perodua Nippa (Ex-Diahatsu Mira?

Forum:

OK, It's not strictly a Daihatsu but it does have a Daihatsu engine and the company is owned by Daihatsu/Toyota.
My wife has just bought a Perodua Nippa fitted with a Daihatsu 3 cylinder 847cc engine. I don't have an owners manual or service info. Can anyone give me any servicing information, i.e. how much oil does it hold, how often is servicing required etc, etc.
Thanks in anticipation.

The Nippa appears to almost be a random generation of the Mira/Cuore. The amount of oil it takes is quite small. My mums L500 took about 1.5-2 litres to fill it back up after an oil change.
Not sure about the official servicing intervals on it now tbh as it has been sold. However we serviced it every 10,000. However i think because its a high revving engine they reccomend oil change around every 6,000 miles. However ran great and incredibly reliable on the 10,000 mile servicing schedule.

Thanks, Lurch. Hopefully I can get a handbook from the local dealer.
There seem to be quite a few parts on it that are labelled Daihatsu so I'm hoping I can source parts from other suppliers rather than have to pay main dealer prices.

Lurch's latest CD manual may suit. I'm going to get one as soon as my employer tops up my bank balance. You can't have too much info!

In the meantime, I've got owner's and service manuals for the Nippa (Kancil), or at least one variety of it. (Doesn't cover the engine I've got.) If you need a page or two scanned, send me a PM.
