just bin green laning and i selected 4wd high after about 200yds it jumped out of gear leavin the transfer lever jamed i cant move it at all its solid any idears

Pull the rubber shifter boot,
Pull the rubber shifter boot, then the boot up the transfer case lever. If I remember rightly, there is a large circlip that holds the lever in. Pull the circlip, then the lever. Then try replacing it, looking for the notches in the selector that the lever end engauges into. I think there is also a plastic cover over the end of the lever, that may be worn. The plastic cup that the ball sits in may also be worn.
