S reg, Cuore, lost key would'nt start with the copy.

Forum: 

I lost my Daihatsu Cuore's original key and it would'nt start with the copy. Took it to the dealers and they charge me £500 for a new one (programmed), the car is not worth it. Does any body know what I could do, i.e. replace some parts or somehting.

theres not a lot you can do about it.
this is an open forum and its a BIG security issue as anyone could use details posted on here to go out and steal one once a security bypass was published.
you can always contact a specialist locksmith who "may" program one for you for far far less than a dealer, but be aware they will want a logbook, ID and lots of your details first!

I am in east London, i got a locksmith around the corner but they can't program the key. let me know any locksmith who can program the key, it does'nt matter, anyway in london.
