Hi I have a 1995 4-Track 'Timberline' which I have had from new. Over the years I found water in the driver's footwell, thinking it was from wading through floods (Somerset Levels)I dried it out and recently realised that there had been water under the carpet for some time. Luckily no rust, only a bolt head. Upon searching out the water it seems to come from around the back of the steering column but I can't find the source. Any ideas as I don't want to have to have the dash out - costs prohibitive. Also recently found water in the back but I think this is through the rubber seal as there is water inside the rubber itself which can be squeezed out of the air holes! Any ideas - I'm tired of lifting the front matt out and putting paper in and taking out the rear carpet - I think it's being drawn into the carpet from the back door and capilliary reaction taking place. Any help or ideas please - urgent before Winter and more rain.
