Hi i puchased an applause in the middle of a Sydney heatwave(43*C) that's about 113F needless to say heating was the last thing on my mind.ive been working hear for some six months now and it is Baltic ;don't believe what you see on the telly winters here are very cold.

guess what the heater dose not work. blows cold but apparently there is no hot input to the heater matrix.Can some one please tell if there is an isolating vale somwhere or if the problem is more involved.
there isn't an applause manual to be had in the whole of Oz.
Please help
Ps the air-con is goosed but being a pom i just wind down the windows
