Just had new pads fitted by local garage and now the front pads/calipers rattle a lot. Any ideas? Should the garage fit a anti-rattle spring kit too?

Absolutley....take the car ba
Absolutley....take the car back and insist they check the anti rattle clips have been fitted.
Even more worrying is that the calipers have not been torqued up properly...we are talking brakes here...take it back and get them to check their work.
