Sportrak De-cat

I have de-catted my 91 ELXi Sportrak.

I bought a exhaust down pipe for an earlier carb engine, just swap it with your original down pipe and cat. Took about 10 mins to fit.

The mpg stayed the same, the acceleration was slightly better, but the main thing I found was that I had a lot more torque than before.

The pipe cost around £30 from a local auto factors.

I have just kept my old down pipe and cat at work, so I can refit it when the MOT comes around.
