Have a worsening situation with getting a click when turning ignition key, is this a starter motor or solenoid issue? Can a solenoid be changed, any ideas of location, can starter motor brushes be changed to remedy or is starter motor likely to be finished?
It could be either or both,
It could be either or both, brushes can be purchased cheaply from a local auto electrician. Solonoids can be stripped, cleaned, and the contacts refaced.
