Hi, I have a 1990 sportrak, and after coming back from holiday I found my drivers side glass cracked, the housing seems ok though !
Any suggestions as to where to get a replacement and are they hard to fit a friend said that you can get a stick on new glass
at most motor spares shops, are they any good though
Hi to members, Ric from Ballarat Victoria Australia. I just got a 1994 dozer widetrack here and its giving me some hassles on fuel consumption. It's a 1.6L efi petrol with extractors (genni)2" system but I'm getting 325 km from a full tank (60 litres) . I fitted a K&N filter to help over come this. Still running a black tail pipe.
I need a manual for my new Daihatsu fourtrak and as there is no paper version available i need to get one on CD, but which model of vehicle is mine:
Daihatsu Rocky F73, F78
Type F73RG-MMHT
Engine BL-52
I need some help please!
Just brought an old G-reg Fourtrax which is cheap and cheerfull, (but have been told she would probable still pull a train out of a ditch) its got 5 bad and different size/makes of tires.
What is the best size for the old girl and any suggestions on a make and model for general use, occasional light off road and mainly road use to take into account wet/icy conditions.
Been upset today, after going into a quarry, with a few others (legally, I know the owner), the Land Rover boys descended, after slagging our tractors and sporties off, they (illegally) drove round and promptly got stuck.
We; on the other hand, drove round and did not get stuck where they were, after much humiliation, we decided we were better people and winched them out.
I have had a couple of enquiries as to whether the extended shackles I am making for the fourtrak will fit the rear of the sportrak. I don't know anyone with a sportrak so am unable to check so can anyone tell me. The length of the pins between the plates is 85mm at the chassis end and 65mm at the spring and the diameter is 16mm. These are the same as the original fourtrack shackle.
cheers.
Milners have been supplying filter kits for the Fourtrak at the princely sum of £10 + delivery and VAT; these consist of the oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter.
Anyone buying a kit should note the following, two different air filters were fitted to the Fourtrak, these are essentially the same, except for the locating hole (large one).
