I have just purchased a 1996 R-Reg DAIHATSU FOURTRAK TDS 2.8 TD
I am wondering if anyone could tell me the model number so i could get a manual for it?
Hi
I test-drove a Rocky / Fourtrak for the first time this weekend after hunting for quite a while to find one - they are thin on the ground in South Africa. The price is good but the truck has clearly not been babied. I would appreciate some advice before taking the leap and buying since I have no Rocky experience:
Hi, was just wondering if anyone know's of a good mechanic in the Sydney area who has experience with Rocky's. I just got my 96' Sports Wagon(F78 I think) and am wanting a couple of things checked - sticky brake and smoke on cold startup.
IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED,I HAVE SOLD MY 2005 DAIHATSU YRV 130 TURBO TO A GARAGE IN LINCOLNSHIRE, 2005 YRV 130 TURBO IF INTERESTED THERE TELE NO. IS 01522 850000. ITS ONLY DONE 14,000 MILES,REASON FOR SELLING I AM GOING ONTO MOTABILITY CONTRACT HIRE CAR. PS ITS GOT FULL DAIHATSU SERVICE HISTORY.
As said in our other post about welding up rear diff's, we've got a newer 1990 7 seater 2.8TD fourtrak, and it has some different switches, buttons and transfer leaver set-up (operation).
Just picked up a right bargain, managed to get a 1990 7 seater 2.8 TD with 2 inch brand new lift kit, new gearbox and clutch for £300. The person who used to own it, rolled it whilst off-roading, the tax ran out and was desparate to get rid of it only owning it himself a few months.
I have recently upgraded the rear springs of my F78 Rocky. Are the factory shocks obtainable from Milners still a good set to get (I need to replace the shocks too) or should I go for something different? Anybody suggestions?
Just brought a Farm Jack from screwfix and went out to play with it on my sporty as I had to swap my muds for road tyres, only I cant seem to find a suitble jacking location, anyone got one and where do you jack it?
