Heard of a worrying trend in and around the Nottingham/Derby/Leicester areas, many 4X4's are having parts robbed off them during the night.
Parts are mainly wheels and tyres, easily removed body panels interior trim and fixings, and in extreme cases are having complete engines/transmissions, and axles removed.
i am in australia and i have diahatsu applause, what is the correct idle speed and is the car over in UK primarily the same as in aussie?? and where could i get a repair manual.....thanks again
Know of a good Fourtrak for sale, generally good condition with little, or no off road use.
Mark 1, leaf sprung model with good engine, transmission, and very good body for the year.
Phone 07960-381374 and speak to Gandolph for details.
I understand this is a uk based websire, but I was wondering if there be anyone on this site that may be in western australia. like me? feeling very lonely over here, boo hoo.
I'm thinking of buying a fourtrak to use off road at the weekends, it would also be my daily driver though. I am unsure whether to get a leaf sprung or an independent. Obviously the independent is better on the road but how good is it off road compared to the leaf sprung? Is it easier or harder to work on than the leaf sprung (Im looking to do a suspension lift and put larger wheels/types on, the usual offroad stuff)?
Sorry if these are stupid questions but I want to make the right choice when I buy.
