PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH MY 1997 HIJET.
we have just fixed the head gasket on our hijet it does start and sounds good but it does not continue to run so we wondered if the computer needs resetting as the engine management light stays on.many thanks ladyluck.
Hi again guys, whilst driving home yesterday the MIU light (the one which looks like an engine) lit up on the tachometer of my 51-reg YRV 4-Trak. The car drives totally normally with no noticable problems and no smoke out of the rear, but when I had the bonnet up to have a look at the engine, there was an amount of black deposit on the camshaft cover and engine head above the exit of cylinders 1 and 2, mainly above number 1 though.
My brother bought me Bosch Super Plus (plus YTTRIUM) 2 tips for my Charade 87-88 (G100 engine). A mechanic said that they wouldn't work as my car has a point system for my carburetor. Is it true??
The stem (the white part of the plug) is also smaller compared to the regular plug. Are these plugs pre-gapped? Cause i don't see a way to gap.
was curious if anyone has had the same problem as i am experiencing with my G200 charade....she seems to be idling higher than usual when started and after reachin normal runnin temp she is idling high then low this continues while u are still at the traffic lights and then she she runs like normal when u accelerate....the high then low hight then low idle is a huge concern we put her in the shop and the mechanic said it was dirty fuel injectors we had them cleaned and it hasnt made a difference.
HI, i own a 91 Applause, and cant get my head around this one problem. Water/coolant is always boiling over in my reserve tank, and the temp skyrockets. I have a brand new radiator, thermostat and a couple of new hoses. Im at a dead end now and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! cheers.
Hi there, I have a Y reg 2001 automatic cuore which is in need of a replacement engine as it has a v high mileage. Does anyone know which cars are driving around with the same engine as we are having difficulties? Is the perodua kelisa engine the same? thanks!
I've been for the past lets say year and a half been having a problem with my counters.
Turn on and off the ignition and the dials go crazy; rev,speedometer,fuel,temp all go half way sit there for about 2 seconds drop back down and all the while thats happening my clock switches off and on resetting it to 1 o clock every single time..
I'm after a nearside driveshaft for a 1997 move plus.
daihatsu online give a back order time of 4 weeks - and i don't want to wait that long if i can help it!
if anyone knows where i can get hold of one that would be great.
