Missing ignition switch (the one found in the steering column inside the cars interior that you put your key into)

Forum:

Because it'll cost me around $200+ CAD funds to get a new switch here, I was thinking about a push button starter (found on the internet for about $60)...are they any good? easy to wire? what stops the starter from cranking over and over when I just push the button once? what keeps it running? do I just push it again to shut it off? what about a car starter wired into it? can that be done?

Oil in the turbo...

Forum:

I haven't gotten my engine running yet, the CB60, I'm still working on getting new valves for it...think I may have a source that isn't too expensive (I'm here in Canada there were only about 400 DeTomaso Innocenti's imported here).

Gearbox problems

Forum:

I have a 1989 rocky, which started giving me problems with going from 3rd to 2nd. My local garage said it was synchro problems, even though I thought it was not. I had a look at the posts on this site regarding gearboxes, and found many relating to the infamous 'loose nut'. I spoke to the garage, and he agreed to check this out for me. It was the loose nut problem, a simple fix for a mechanic, and saved my a lot of money, in not having to replace the gearbox. This is a great site for owners, and I would like to thank all the contributers who posted the loose nut details.
