One of mine looks dodgy (deep crack, no swelling or leakage yet) so it'll need replaced.
Since Daihatsu Skywing (like G10/11 Charade) parts are hard to find (dealer can't be arsed and there aren't many cars in the scrappies) I'm wondering what my chances are of pulling something that'll fit off another car.
My Daihatsu Sirion began flashing its MIL at me so I took it in to a garage for diagnostic checks. This gave the error code of a misfiring cylinder, which was duly fixed with new coil packs. The MIL then turned off, so I and the garage thought it was fixed. However, a mile down the road the light came back on. The error code reader could not find any error codes coming from the engine (2-3 different readers have been tried).
Hay guys. Iv got a 99 sirion 1litre. EJ-DE. And iv got oil in the sparkplug ccylinders. Do I just replace the vavle cover gasket? Or are there more seals. Also I cant find a workshop manual anywhere. Thanks
I just found that my wingmirror glass is cracked. Due to low budget I would rather try to replace it myself, but all I can find on ebay are these replacement glass that you stick onto the previous one without removing it.
I wonder if they are worth anything, or if I should look for the proper one?
Bought a very low mileage 1L Charade for my Daughter to learn to drive on and as a local run around. It is so handy however that the new Skoda Estate only gets used for long runs.
One issue - lambda sensor went and was replaced but fuel consumption stuck in the high 40's. What can I do?
If any one can help... scanned and the code was P1602 (cannot communicate with AT ECU).. Now the car is stucked at 3rd gear.. When engaging R or D the engine Kicks Hard.. Checked The oil level was ok.. Is it wiring? AT ecu Problem?
Hi my rally 4 recently started making weird sounds nearside front, turns out the spring has sheared near the top, not sure how i managed that looking for replacements, no-one seems to have anything that will fit, does anyone here have anything or know where I can find them? Much appreciated Andy.
Hi, Ive been doing some general maintenance on our 0.8L 1998 cuore recently and thought I might change the gearbox oil as its done nearly 80k miles and never had it done.
Thing is I dont seem to be able to find anywhere to say where the drain and fill plugs are for the cuore, does anyone here know?
