Anyone fitted uprated Alloys to their YRV Turbo? Got some Wolfrace 15" alloys with 6.5J, 100 x 4 PCD and ET35. The tyres are 195/50/R15 Uniroyal 505 tyres. The problem is that when fitting to the rears the tyre is touching the rear axle. Any ideas what to try? Thought about spacers but not sure if I need 5 or 10MM ones.

I was in their shop and almost bought a set, perhaps 185's wouldn't rub.

Funnily enough yes they are from there. Listed the YRV as a fit. To be honest they are pretty hopeless at getting stuff out to you. They even asked me on 4 seperate occassions what car I had ???
Had 4 alloy wheels but no kit with them. And they are hopeless at communication. I should have shopped around and gone to a specialist alloy shop. 
The alloys I have are Wolfrace Octane's with Uniroyal 505 195/15/50 tyres. The tyre touches the back axel on the rears. Hoping the H&R spacers I have ordered are going to sort it out.

Tyre Rubbing
They seemed ok going into the shop in Ayr, but I checked some other on line wheel suppliers, and http://www.alloywheels.com suggest a 185/55/15 tyre for a YRV.

See what your saying but I do know of people having 195 tyres. Seem to recall that Dave Dixon had new alloys but had to fit spacers also.
