Hi, My Rev counter on my '98 fourtrak is not working. Tried a different dash to no avail. Where does the feed for the rev counter come from? Most diesels use the "W" terminal on the alternator, but I can't see anything relating to this in the wiring diagram or on the voltage reg. The wiring diagram shows a remote pick-up, where is this located? Is it on a crankshaft pick-up or on the diesel pump as somebody has suggested. Thanks.
