I don't owned a Daihatsu Hi Jet but my son do and I have been looking at his over heating problem which so far we have cured the problem, been running five days so far and no over heating problem. To get at the thermostat which is behind the front seats under the carpet, remove the bolts and panel then you will see the thermostat housing. Can I ask why you want to remove the thermostat? Are you having a overheating problem?
