Just got a S80 HiJet today. It has a bad engine....
Here in the US, Diahatsu's are as rare as hen's teeth. I have found one 650cc engine for sale, and its asking as much as the truck is worth.

I am trying to find out if the 998cc engines used in the Charade will fit the transmission in place of my 650? Charade's are rare here too, but I can atleast pick from a small selection of those available, and they are less than half the price being asked for the 650.
