Manual Hubs

Hi.
I have manual hubs and when offroading I lock them in at the start of the day, no worries about the tarmac inbetween sections,as you should be in 2WD/hi and unlock them at the end of the day. Just DO NOT engage 4WD on tarmac or solid surfaces .
There are thoughts/suggestions re a post by Assassin that worn components in the transfer gearbox/selector mechanism could cause 4WD to engage at speed, thus causing the transmision to self destruct, so remember to unlock the hubs before hiting the main highway/blacktop at speed on the way home.
