Hi,
I have a 2002 hijet 1296 efi and appear to have a problem with a fuel leak from the flange attaching the fuel line to the pump (the pump body is badly corroded as is the fuel line).
I am having difficulty locating a compatible pump, and my local dealer is very, very, very expensive... with the help of a manual and some specs and the name of a supplier I would have no real trouble.

Hello mate, try ebay mate. Loads of Hijet breakers on there. I used a great place from Wolverhampton for my bits. Cheap and they post it to you too.
I think they are called---daihatsuparts
Look em up mate or try a motor factors like euro car parts or camberley spare etc.
